PreAim

Privacy Policy

What this covers

This describes what PreAim actually collects and does with it — written to match our real setup, not a generic template. If something here ever stops matching how the app actually works, tell us and we'll fix either the code or this page.

Account information

Sign-up and login are handled by Clerk, our authentication provider. Depending on how you sign up, Clerk holds your email address and, for Discord/Google sign-in, basic profile info from that provider. We don't see or store your password.

During onboarding you give us a nickname, your Riot ID (Name#TAG), and your self-reported competitive rank. This is entered by you, not fetched from any third party — we don't use tracker.gg or any other stats-scraping service to look up your account. Riot ID is used to improve kill-feed matching when analyzing your clips; rank is used to make coaching reports rank-aware. Both are editable anytime in Settings.

Your uploaded video

Uploaded clips are stored in a private Supabase Storage bucket, accessible only via short-lived signed URLs, never public. The raw clip is deleted automatically as soon as analysis finishes — success or failure, every time, not just on request. We don't keep a library of your full uploaded footage.

Where your report cites specific evidence (e.g. a death it's analyzing), a short clip of just that moment (a few seconds) is extracted and kept alongside the report so the evidence stays inspectable — these short evidence clips persist until you delete your account or the associated report.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly. We keep a record of your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and a credits ledger (what was granted, spent, and why) so your balance and billing history are accurate.

Earn-credits & referrals

Subscribing on YouTube and joining our Discord are honor-system tasks — we don't verify these through YouTube's or Discord's APIs, so we don't receive any data from those platforms about your account there. Reviews you submit (rating + text) are stored and may be shown publicly as testimonials. Referral links carry a short-lived, first-party cookie (7 days) so we can credit whoever referred you at signup — no third-party tracking involved.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't use your uploaded footage to train AI models beyond generating your own report. We don't share your Riot ID, rank, or clips with other users or third parties, other than the service providers listed above who process it on our behalf (Clerk, Supabase, Stripe, and the AI models used to generate your report).

Your choices

You can update your nickname, Riot ID, and rank anytime in Settings. You can request deletion of your account and associated data (reports, evidence clips, credits ledger) by contacting us — we'll process it within a reasonable time.

Changes

We may update this policy as PreAim changes. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
